Once Andrew Pierce and Ashley Hudson were at church together in Hamburg they realized that there was no turning back. Ashley was only 17 and she'd never been with a man prior to that. They took the relationship very slow. It was love at first sight. The day before New Day, right prior to the beginning of 2016, Andrew requested God to bless him with one final thing this year... that Ashley would say yes and wed Andrew. Ashley really wanted to do the wedding with a folk-inspired wooden theme, as it represented Andrew along with her. In order to create the perfect wedding, the couple decided to take a little inspiration from the things they love. The venue chosen was on the 40 acres back of the land Ashley has grown up on. Ashley went on a walk around the region and was having fun with every path they took to the field, where they exchanged vows. On top of that Andrew and Ashley have walked through in the same area several times before they first started dating. Personalization was key since they did a lot of it themselves. Andrew and Ashley's dad created the seating areas and the arch for the wedding ceremony. Ashley painted many of these decorations. Ashley states that she would have been disappointed if Anna, the florist at Magnolia Belle Floral, hadn't created her stunning floral designs for us, the wedding could have lacked the amazing feeling that I had hoped it would. It's truly amazing.
